Big Leagues was founded after Carson noticed something missing in his local sports community. There was no reliable, up to date place where fans, players, and families could easily find standings, schedules, rosters, player statistics, and league leaderboards for high school soccer.

Seeing the need for a central hub for league information, Carson built his first website to serve his local soccer community. The goal was simple: create a place where the community could easily follow the season and celebrate the players and teams competing in it.

After launching the first site, the platform quickly gained traction. Carson expanded Big Leagues to operate and manage three additional league websites covering soccer and lacrosse across Pennsylvania. Today, these sites receive hundreds of thousands of views each season from players, families, friends, coaches, and fans following their local teams.

From the beginning, the mission has been clear: provide communities with reliable, accessible sports information completely free of charge.

As Big Leagues continued to grow, Carson also saw a challenge facing athletes themselves. After helping create recruiting sheets for a local soccer team, he realized that players needed a simpler way to organize and present their information to college coaches. This led to the development of ScoutSide, a platform designed to help athletes, parents, and sports clubs create recruiting sheets, build player profiles, and track engagement through analytics.

Together, Big Leagues and ScoutSide aim to support every part of the sports ecosystem, from leagues and communities to the athletes pursuing opportunities at the next level.
